  • Abstract
    In this paper, the novel wideband PDR (planar double rings) antenna is presented. The antenna´s operating frequency band is more than 2 GHz wide (from 1.92 GHz-4.2 GHz for antenna #5 in the paper), which covers IMT-2000, WLAN and the 3.5 GHz wireless access frequency band. The proposed antenna maintains the small dimensions of the radiating element (<15 mm×31 mm) and has a compact structure, which is easily integrated with the RF-circuit.
