Abstract
Signal to clipping noise ratio (SCR) and active-set methods are two existing peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction methods based on tone reservation. In this paper, we compare the PAPR reduction performance of these two methods, and the computational complexity is analyzed. The simulation results show that active-set method requires less computational complexity than that of SCR method while they achieve similar PAPR reduction performance.
