Preface

The International Conference on Knowledge and System Engineering (KSE) has become a premier event in knowledge and system engineering creating an important meeting for academia and industrial researchers around the world. Following the success of the previous three editions, KSE 2012 is co-organized by Danang University of Technology and the University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University Hanoi. KSE 2012 continues to provide a forum for scientists and innovators to discuss problems, share results, identify emerging issues and establish collaborations in the areas of Knowledge and Systems Engineering. KSE 2012 continues to maintain its high technical quality with a rigorous reviewing process of an international program committee. This year, we received 61 contributed papers from 10 countries. Each paper was carefully evaluated by three reviewers. Based on the review reports and extensive discussions among the program committee members, the program committee selected 29 long papers and 6 regular papers for presentation and publication in this volume. A list of these reviewers is published in this volume. The KSE 2012 program includes 2 invited talks (abstracts of invited talks by these speakers are published in this proceedings).
