Abstract :
This paper provided an energy saving process of uniform restricted aeration, analyzed the dynamic characteristic and conducted experimental test on tanning waste water. Results show that the microorganism activity have been improved greatly by enhancing the mass transfer. Under the conditions of inlet CODCr 427-750mg/L, BOD5 ranges from 224mg/L to 396mg/L, the outlet water is higher than industry standard after 4 hours running; at the organic loading of 1.24 kg COD / (kg MLSS·d), air to water ratio is in between 8-9:1, the uniform restricted aeration have advantages over CSTR process on efficiency, reaction rate and energy consumption. It is well worth popularizing in industry.
