Abstract :
We have developed a fast and accurate calibration method for computing the position and orientation of 2D ultrasound (US) images in 3D space during an ultrasound scan. This calibration is required in the fields of 3D ultrasound and registration of ultrasound with other imaging modalities, Our method requires only one US image and it takes only 2-3 minutes to be completed
