Abstract
Since 1994, the Engineering Science and Technology programs at Henry Cogswell College have gone through major curriculum revisions. These revisions were stimulated by the trend in engineering education and industry needs. At the heart of the new curricula is a set of competency-based courses consisting of a common sophomore-level Introduction to Engineering Design and a capstone sequence of senior design courses: Senior Design Project I and Senior Design Project II. This paper presents a sample senior design project carried out from the requirement phase to implementation
