Abstract :
The temperature detection of ceramic kiln affects directly the control effect of ceramic kilns, thereby affecting the quality of ceramic products. In this paper, flame image based detection scheme for ceramic kilns is proposed to better compensate for the lack of thermocouple detection. DSP-based flame image processing technology is used to realize real-time detection and to monitor the ceramic kiln temperature within the combustion zone in the scheme. The detection system proposed is mainly composed of CCD, image processing module, DSP, ARM and human touch screen, etc. The paper proposes a kind of feasible new scheme for the effective detection of the ceramic kiln temperature within the combustion zone and the effective use of energy so as to provide intelligent control of ceramic kilns temperature and the improvement of ceramic products quality with a kind of new approach.
