Abstract
An adaptive spatial regularization method was developed and applied to solving the inverse problem of electrocardiography for reconstruction of endocardial electrograms based on measurements obtained with a noncontact multielectrode cavitary probe. The performance of the method was assessed in reconstructing unipolar as well as bipolar endocardial surface electrograms. The adaptive method provides superior results compared to zero-order Tikhonov regularization method
