Abstract :
The method investigated and described is a different way of presenting information from Body Surface Potential Map recordings. By transforming the data into the frequency domain and studying the spatial distribution of amplitudes in different frequency bands, it is hoped that the data set can be reorganised to facilitate analysis of the data. Preliminary results show that it is possible to obtain reproducible displays with easily identifiable features for some parts of the ECG. However, typical maps characterising different cardiac conditions have not yet been defined
