Abstract :
In this paper, the authors present a new method of a shunt active filter control. In contrast to the conventional control techniques. With the proposed variable structure control, the switching patterns are generated directly by transforming the controller outputs in αβ frame with selecting an optimum digital switching table. Simulation results obtained with the Saber program are presented to verify the dynamic and the steady-state performances of the controller design. In addition, the controller achieves a significant reduction of the switching frequency
