Abstract :
The paper deals with the robust control of an asynchronous motor via sliding mode technique. Modelling, simulation and experimental studies are investigated. A control scheme to avoid damage of the electrical drive is presented. The sliding mode velocity controller is designed. Robustness is tested with the respect to the parameter uncertainties
