Abstract
Cycle by cycle calculations are performed in a DSP to determine the optimum switching instants for both auxiliary and main devices in an auxiliary resonant commutated pole inverter without the need for additional current sensors. Results are presented demonstrating significant reductions in overall loss, when compared to a hard-switched inverter, without degradation in PWM controllability
