  • Abstract
A new medical imaging modality is introduced to image electrical conductivity of living tissues via contactless measurements. A sensitivity matrix which relates the perturbation in magnetic field measurements to the conductivity perturbations is obtained for a coplanar 7×7-coil array placed nearby the upper surface of a 10×10×5 (cm) conductive body. Images are using truncated pseudo-inverse. It is observed that voxel perturbations at a 2 cm depth can be identified. However, resolution gradually decreases for deeper conductivity perturbations
