Abstract :
In the present paper eigen oscillations of radially three-layered cylindrical and spherical dielectric resonators are studied. The cylindrical resonator is limited with two perfectly conducting end plates. The resonator layers radii are denoted by rp, p=1;2;3 are the boundaries of resonator layers, the radial thicknesses of the middle layers are Delta=r2-r1, L is the axial size of the cylindrical resonator. All resonator layers are isotropic and they are characterized by complex permittivity epsivnu=epsiv´nu(1+itandeltanu) and permeability munu=mu´nu+imun nu where nu =1, 2, 3 is the number of a resonator layer counted off from the resonator center and nu =4 is the number of the ambient medium, tandeltanu is loss tangent of the respective layer.
