Abstract :
In this paper a timing synchronization algorithm based on geometry character of synchronization metric is presented. In traditional algorithms, the results of synchronization estimation are acquired from the maximum value of metric. This method produces big variance without statistical and limit computing. In this paper trapezium fitting with those two computing is introduced to synchronization algorithm and the variance is reduced largely. This new method is very important complement of Schmidl´s algorithm and largely improves the performance over the Nandula´s algorithm.
