Abstract :
Cooperative communication is a new technology in wireless communication, which can find applications in many aspects. To implement cooperative communication, the problem of relay selection needs to be solved first. A fuzzy comprehensive evaluation-based relay selection algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is energy-aware in that it takes into consideration not only the channel state information but also the energy information of the relays, and uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to select the optimal relay. Simulation results show that the proposed relay selection algorithm is obviously better than those algorithms based only on the channel state information in terms of network lifetime.
