Abstract
A possible approach to the problem of lessening the impact of DSP system faults (partial loss of input signal sample values) on their normal performance is considered. It is suggested to improve the DSP system fault tolerance by using the techniques of digital alias-free signal processing (DASP) which are shown to be substantially more fault tolerant than the techniques of traditional DSP, at least for many basic signal digital processing procedures
