  • Abstract
Based on a 2D heterogeneous and anisotropic computer model of electrical conduction in the cardiac tissue, we have developed a 3D anatomical model of human atria of about 250´000 cardiac cells. We have been able to initiate atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation and to reproduce observations made in clinical experiments
