  • Abstract
A retrodirective array which used in general node of wireless sensor networks (WSN) is presented, and this antenna is composed of dual-polarized antenna and phase-conjugation circuit. Dual-polarized antenna uses corner-fed, and phase-conjugation circuit achieves phase conjugation and the signal modulation through mixer. The system can serve as a retrodirective array transponder using a local oscillator (LO) that has the twice of the radio frequency (RF). The simulation results show that the dual-polarized antenna operates at 2.45 GHz with a return loss of -30 dB and the isolation of -30 dB. The array has the interesting trait that it sends an incoming signal back to the source direction without any priori knowledge of the direction of arrival.
