Abstract
Complete acoustic response measurements including damping parameter determination and fiber´s asymmetry analysis are reported. The acoustic effect is incorporated in the nonlinear Schrodinger equation and the timing jitter evolution is investigated for a 10 Gb/s soliton transmission line
