Abstract :
An AlGaAs-GaAs waveguide is coupled to an InGaAs PIN photodetector by a total internal reflector and polyimide process. This device achieved 10 GHz 3-dB bandwidth (error-free 10 Gb/s) and is suitable for OC-192 WDM receiver module applications
