Abstract :
We have manufactured a diagnosis support system for dementia based on the neuropsychological examination used in Wakayama Medical College and have documented the validity of the system by experiments for 200 subjects (from 20 to 74 years old). The system is considered available as a training system for individuals who need rehabilitation of slight higher-cortical dysfunction, or prevention of depression and improvement of higher cortical function. Therefore, we have made training problems for trial for such a system. The problems for activation of a right temporal lobe activate successfully the target lobe. Next, we have made a new training system which produces different problems automatically by computer programs. In this report, we describe the system and show the validity of tackling different problems for training through the investigation of computed topographic EEG
