Home network remote controller using the appliance integrated script engine

This paper presents a remote controller for home network systems that works on all network appliances. We discuss problems of home network systems which are composed of different types of sub-networks combined with bridges and gateways. Then we propose a solution to the problems using "appliance integrated script" (AIS) as common definition shared by all sub-networks and "AIS engine" to execute the script.
