Abstract :
The rapid development of computer assisted language learning (CALL) has exerted a highly significant influence on college English teaching and learning. This paper intends to explore a brand new listening teaching model-interactive self-access listening (ISL) teaching model in MCALL (multimedia CALL) environment and test its effectiveness in practical teaching implementation. After the quantitative data-collection and analysis, a conclusion is reached that most of the students show positive attitudes towards ISL and this model is effective to a large degree in the process of listening.
