Abstract :
We demonstrate delivery of broadband (1.5 GHz) digital television service using a wideband (6.4 nm) optical source over a 50 km dispersion compensated fiber link at 1500 nm. Dispersion penalties agree with a simple model and permit a 20-fold increase in reach over uncompensated links
