Abstract :
This paper proposes a block code that minimizes the PAPR of OFDM for wireless LAN. Here, the code is implemented with a shift register and codeword inverter. Encoding of the code consists of searching a seed codeword, shifting the register elements and inverting the codeword. Since the OFDM system with the proposed code has the minimum PAPR, flexible design of a power amplifier at the transmitter end is possible.
