Abstract :
In this paper, a method is presented for realizing SMPTE-C standard colors on a TV display that does not have the standard primaries. Measurements of the color primary parameters of the display are obtained and used for transforming an input RGB signal to an output RGB signal, so that the perception of the output RGB signal on the display is same as the input RGB signal on a SMPTE-C standard display.
