Abstract
We explain the effect of the electrical filtering on the chromatic dispersion limitation of optical AM-PSK duobinary signals by studying various types of filters at various orders both in the spectrum and time domains. We study the propagation of various 10 Gbit/s duobinary signals directly obtained with a filter, or with delay lines and then filtered by various types of filter at various orders
