  • Abstract
A new video coding method based on compressive sampling is proposed, in which a video is coded using compressive measurements on video cubes. Video reconstruction is based on minimizing the total variation (TV) of the pixelwise DCT coefficients along temporal direction. The reconstruction algorithm is an efficient TV minimization algorithm based on the augmented Lagrangian method and an alternating minimization technique.
