Abstract :
We report the first 10 Gb/s transmission on 100 km of dispersive fiber for four 90 GHz spaced channels, using a DBR laser-electroabsorption modulator. We present components with optimized characteristics. Transmission experiments at 10 Gb/s over 100 km of standard single mode dispersive fiber on the four channels of an integrated device are reported. This fiber span beyond the chromatic dispersion limit is achievable owing to the blue chirp regime operation of the transmitter
