Abstract
Trust management can be used to foster good behavior and to encourage adherence to contracts in p2p network. Several trust models have been deployed in practical applications or proposed in the literature. This paper describes a trust model which uses beta probability density functions to combine feedback and derive trust ratings. The experiment shows that the proposed model with aging factor and confidence can autonomously deal with the biased information and identify trust belief with better efficiency.
