Abstract
The paper describes the dynamic behavior of the wind power plants and shows simulation results. The operation principle of the the double fed induction wind generator will be presented. The simulations were made with a Euro stag modeled version using a part of the National Power System Euro stag database. Various operation scenarios were simulated to show the impact in the transmission power grid.
