Abstract :
We discuss device, system, and network application aspects of DFG wavelength conversion in AlGaAs waveguides. Polarisation-independent, simultaneous conversion of 2.5 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s channels, and the parametric wavelength interchanging cross-connect architecture will also be presented
