  • Abstract
    We present the results of applying advanced data integration and data mining (DMI) techniques to several scenarios from the hydro-meteorological area. The technology used has been developed in the context of the FP7 project ADMIRE. It consists of a specialized DMI architecture, a set of tools implementing it, and a custom DMI process description language named DISPEL. We have used it to describe three scenarios defined by local domain experts. The scenarios have been tested with real data, and experimental results confirm the feasibility of using DMI in this area.
