Abstract :
Implementing MPEG4 and MHP-Java on different platforms, offer very different capabilities for the application developers to exploit. This paper describes the analysis of MHP and MPEG4, taking the unique features of both, and creating a combined MHP/MPEG4 system. This combination is implemented on a Linux based STB-PVR, and on a digital TV to prove applicability in a true embedded product.
