Design of intelligent concentrator based on Web service

This paper analyses the advantages and disadvantages of intelligent meter(IM) data concentrators used in existing meter-reading system, and combining the development and application of current embedded system and communication technology, a new style design scheme of intelligent concentrator based on Web service is proposed to meet the requirements of concentrator in practical application. The paper introduces the system architecture establishment on 32bit MPU as the core of the hardware system, and illustrates the most important functions of task and key technology which must be achieved in the design of software of concentrator.
