Abstract :
This paper reveals Hydra Control System, a control system that contains the parallel and mixture attributes all in one system. The system is composed of two main principles, Hydra Controller and Waterfall Actuator. Hydra Controller consists of various sub-controllers functioning together. While the Waterfall actuator functions as a signal selector, it detects the most appropriate signal and transfer to the actual actuator. The most outstanding component of this function is the capability of automatic structured adaptation , which enables the system to continue working even with some failure in the subcontrollers or any signal disruption. The system will fail only under circumstances where all sub-controllers are destroyed or fail simultaneously. From this concept, we have carried out an experiment of actual application with a demonstration of the design and the function of this new system which is based on the original algorithm.
