Abstract :
Over the past few decades of research on the design of power management integrated circuits (IC) and systems, a number of improvements have been achieved. In this paper, a novel solar-harvesting IC and system is developed. A temperature compensated technique is then adopted to keep the circuit characteristics stable and have low thermal sensitivity. Finally, a novel metering system is developed to combine the solar-harvesting system with an online system. In this way, users can get the proposed system´s information at any time and from anywhere. Meanwhile, there is no need to buy any other scope or meter to undertake the measurements. Computer simulations and experimental results demonstrate the accuracy and the superior performance of the proposed technique.
