Abstract :
This paper presents the modeling and characterization of cascaded long period fiber grating. It is shown that the transmission characteristics of cascaded long period fiber grating can be controlled by controlling the physical parameters like separation distance, grating length and number of gratings. The investigation was aimed to identify the best configuration suitable for ADM application in DWDM system.
