Abstract :
This paper examines the main parameters for generating ozone by means of barrier discharge. Barrier discharge with moving dielectric barrier allows the easy installation for ozone generation since the discharge burns continuously versus the installation with alternating voltage. With the direct voltage on the discharge gap, the intensity of the discharge can be determined using the value of the dielectric barrier capacity, in this case the value of the energy release is about the same as the energy released during gas discharge. The results showed that the experimental ozonizer with the movable dielectric barrier is capable of effective ozone generation with direct voltage and low energy expenditures.
