Abstract :
Electric vehicles (EVs) have developed very rapidly today. This triggered the emergence of new investment opportunities, one of them is the battery production due to the battery is one of the main components for EVs. The feasibility analysis is very important to support decision-making related to new investment opportunities. This paper focuses on developing a simulation model to assess the feasibility of an investment, particularly investment in the Lithium-ion battery industry for EVs. Through the simulation model, the analyst can determine the cost of Lithium-ion battery production, analyze company policies related to the determination of a competitive cost of Lithium-ion battery production, analyze and assess the feasibility of Lithium-ion battery investment and analyze the feasibility of the Lithium-ion battery industry. The simulation model able to analyze and assess new investment opportunities with high accuracy because it has ability to consider the uncertainty of the real world into the model. The results of this simulation model can be used as a decision support by decision-makers to decide whether they will take the investment opportunities or not.
