Abstract :
One of the most critical activities of remote sensing consists of the classification process. The results yielded depend on several elements (information classes, remote sensed images, conditions of image acquisition, the spectral and spatial resolution, etc.) but, above all, on the way the classification algorithms are trained. In this work, the authrs´ interest is focused on the identification of the corn crop spatial pattern in the aquifer 18th of the Mancha Oriental (Spain), as well as the consequences of this characterisation in the classification algorithm
