Abstract
Cellular deployment is a step by step process of system design and system integration which involves RF propagation studies and coverage prediction, identification of cell site location, traffic engineering, cell planning, evaluation of C/I, etc. In short, it combines science, engineering and art, where a good compromise among all three is the key to the successful implementation and continued healthy operation of cellular communication systems. In this paper, we present a comprehensive yet concise engineering process involved in various stages of the design and deployment of cellular systems
