Abstract
In-building systems are used to guarantee mobile network coverage within a particular building. This is because penetration of signals from outdoor mobile stations indoors is very little. This paper studies the design aspects of an in-building system besides introducing software to aid the design process. It also evaluates the effectiveness of implementing such systems through signal measurements and traffic analysis in order to provide better indoor network coverage.
