Abstract :
The linear stability of a dielectric fluid subjected to the simultaneous action of charge injection and rotation is analyzed for the case of wire-cylinder electrodes geometry. This study extends the analysis of previous works in two directions. Firstly, charge injection from the wire will be taken as strong and, therefore, the current will be limited by the space charge. This is the situation commonly found in experimental devices using this geometry. Secondly, the linear stability analysis will include both cases of a gas and a liquid filling the cylindrical capacitor
