Abstract :
The four-valued fuzzy sets (FVFS) represent a new extension of fuzzy sets based on the Lukasiewicz four-valued logic. These sets are described by four functions: strong membership, weak membership, weak non-membership and strong non-membership. In this paper the notion of four-valued fuzzy approximation space is introduced. Rough sets on such spaces are defined and some of their properties are studied.
