  • Abstract
The probability of occurrence of the accident during transport of a package containing radioactive and special nuclear material can give rise to risk. In view of this, risk assessment for transportation of radioactive material and special nuclear material is an essential task. Risk assessment in this paper is addressed by fuzzy measure theory. Fuzzy measures such as belief and plausibility of the risk associated with the accident during transport of radioactive material are computed. Risk estimation was carried out on the basis of the inhalation dose resulting during transport of package containing plutonium. The paper discusses the computation algorithm of belief and plausibility.
