  • Abstract
    With Reference to the new and old type sheet designation characteristics of Topographic Map, one method witch was based on ArcObject data set bank of auto retrieving any investigated area sheet designations of new and old type Topographic Map was discussed in the article, and by using ArcObject data set blank, take VB6 as an developing platform, one ArcGWAS9.1 expanded module had been developed, auto retrieving function to a given area old and new type sheet designation of Topographic Map was implemented with the form of retrieving point, point group, line and surface.
