Web3D technology and its application in the cultural relic protection

At present, there are some problems in cultural relics protection. For example, it cost a lot of money to protect and exhibit physical cultural relics, while it is impossible to show some extinct or vanished cultural relics, so it is difficult for everyone to understand the relevant history and culture. Fortunately, with the development of virtual reality technology, the virtual cultural relics based on Web3d technology become more and more vivid. Using web3d technology in the field of cultural relics protection has become an important research direction. This article presents Web3d technology and its application in the cultural relic restoration.
