Abstract :
A multicarrier DS/CDMA system with adaptive antenna array is proposed for a multipath fading channel. A multipath fading channel is modeled as a Nakagami-m (1960) fading channel. The performance is evaluated in terms of the bit error probability, and system capacity for the multicarrier DS/CDMA system with an adaptive antenna array is estimated. From the analytic and simulation results, it is shown that the overall system capacity increases significantly compared to the system without an adaptive antenna array
